When governments, the private sector and other market influencers work together to develop and implement policies that promote natural resource sustainability.

Through Conservation Governance, we promote market-based approaches to help decision-makers in government and the private sector understand the economics associated with managing natural resource usage. By factoring the value of nature into their policies and programs, they can make conservation investments that provide maximum benefits—to people and the planet.

ICCF works with Congressional ICC leaders to pull together broad audiences to forge initiatives that address the world's most pressing conservation challenges. Key to the ICC's success is its bipartisan spirit and capacity to access the resources of conservation leaders, both public and private, to educate them in their decision-making and assist them in funding projects. The ICCF is confident the ICC will continue to meet superb success as the world shifts to an era of ever-greater consciousness of sustainability in development and economic growth.
